Air France: Industrial Action by Air Traffic Controllers

22-Feb-2010 Industrial action by air traffic controllers scheduled for Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 February 2010 included has forced the French Civil Aviation Authority (Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile - DGAC) to reduce the number of flights for all airlines during this period.

Due to this situation, Air France has scheduled to operate:

- 100 % of its long-haul flights over these four days,

For the 23 and 24 February:

- 75% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Charles de Gaulle,

- 50% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Orly.

Traffic forecasts for Thursday 25 and Friday 26 February will be published tomorrow afternoon.

Some flights may have to be cancelled during the day. There may also be delays.

Air France will do its utmost to fly all its passengers to their final destination at the earliest possible opportunity.

Air France's staff at the airport and customer service departments will be ready to inform customers in the event of a flight cancellation, and if necessary, offer an alternative solution either on Air France, or KLM via Amsterdam or with one of the SkyTeam alliance partner airlines.
