Photo call notice - BA strikers come to London on last day of strike

30-Mar-2010 On the last day of the latest round of the strikes by British Airways cabin crew Unite members will be boarding coaches from the picket lines at Heathrow to come to London.
Unite members will hold a media photo call (today) on the steps of the TUC. They will then meet with the joint general secretaries of Unite, Tony Woodley and Derek Simpson, along with members of the Unite executive council.
Hundreds of the strikers will arrive at the TUC to demonstrate their desire for a negotiated settlement to the dispute. The recent negotiations have taken place at the TUC and Unite members are keen for Willie Walsh, the chief executive of BA to return to the negotiating table.
