Wataniya Airways steps into Europe with 3 weekly flights to the Italian capital

07-Apr-2010 Wataniya Airways, Kuwait’s premium service airline, announced today that it will start a regular service flights to the Italian capital Rome on May 31st.

The announcement comes as a strong step for the airline into the European market connecting Kuwaitis to Rome and the rest of the Italian cities from Wataniya Airways' exclusive Sheikh Saad Terminal to Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Fiumiciano Airport three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Rome is Wataniya Airways' eleventh destination and its second European city after the premium carrier's earlier announcement of launching Istanbul from the beginning of May.

Wataniya Airways' services are timed to depart Sheikh Saad Terminal at 09:05 and arrive in Rome at 13:35, giving guests the chance to experience the beautiful city as soon as they step out of the plane. Guests wishing to travel on Wataniya Airways can book their tickets by visiting one of Wataniya Airways' branches either at Sheikh Saad Terminal or Kuwait international Airport or Discovery Mall or by calling the Guest Contact Center at 118 or by contacting their preferred travel agent. Tickets to Rome will also soon be available for booking through the website wataniyaairways.com.

Wataniya Airways currently runs five class-leading Airbus A320 aircraft and a sixth aircraft is scheduled to be received in June. This new aircraft and a seventh, later in the year, will help Wataniya Airways provide better quality services and a wider choice of destinations, in addition to the current flights and upcoming launches in the future.
