Air India resumes flights from/to Chicago & Newark

19-Apr-2010 Air India will resume its flights from/to Chicago w.e.f. Monday, 19th April 2010 with AI 126 D (Chicago-Mumbai) scheduled to depart from Chicago (ORD) at 1600 hrs (local time) and arrive Mumbai on 20th April at 2030 hrs IST.

On the same day, AI 144 D (Newark-Ahmedabad) will depart from Newark at 1400 hours (local time) and arrive Ahmedabad on 20th April at 1700 hrs IST.

On 20th April, AI 127/126 (Mumbai-Chicago-Mumbai) will be operated, with a technical halt at Cairo on both outbound and inbound routes. The flight will depart Mumbai at 0105 hrs IST and arrive Chicago at 1225 hours (local time). The return flight leaving Chicago at 1605 hours (local time) will arrive Mumbai on 21st April at 2140 hours IST.

The airline will operate flight AI 191/144 on 19th April on the Delhi-Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Newark-Mumbai to clear the backlog of passengers between India and Newark. AI 191 will leave Delhi at 2200 hrs IST on 19th APR, arrive Ahmedabad at 2330 hrs, depart at 0135 hrs on 20th April, arrive Mumbai at 0240 hrs, depart at 0430 hours and arrive Newark at 1255 hours on 21st April. The return flight AI 144 departing Newark at 1820 hrs on 20th April (local time) will arrive Mumbai on 21st April at 2105 hours.

Air India resumed its long haul NonStop flights between India and USA on Sunday, 18th April 2010 with the operation of AI 101/102 (Delhi-New York-Delhi) and AI 141/140 (Mumbai-New York-Mumbai).
