Estonian Air Navigation Services: Volcanic ash disrupts air traffic – updated

19-Apr-2010 An Icelandic volcano dormant for centuries erupted in Iceland on Wednesday, sending huge quantities of ash over Europe and disrupting air traffic.

NEW! Estonian airspace is officially closed for IFR (Instrument Flight rules) traffic by Estonian CAA until 09:00(local time) on Tuesday April 20 due to the volcanic ash cloud.

It is expected that Tallinn TWR and APP will be opened to air traffic up to FL200, local time tomorrow morning at 03:00-09:00.

The final decision will made at 21:00.
