  • The airline has programmed the biggest aircraft available, an Airbus A340-600, to Moscow to carry as many passengers as possible between Madrid and the Russian capital. The flight estimated departure time from Madrid is at 14:30.
  • A special flight from Madrid to Rome, to leave at 13:20, will carry passengers that couldn't fly to Milan this morning due to the closure of the airport.
  • Afther Vienna airport has been reopen, Iberia will operate its two scheduled flights along with two additional frequencies to the Austrian capital.
  • An Iberia flight that left this morning to Venice was rerouted to Rome as the airport was closed again while the plane was on its way.
  • Two Iberia flights scheduled to each Venice and Milan will leave for Rome today.
  • Four buses that left Madrid last night will arrive at Munich at 19 h., local time, with passengers affected by flight cancellations. Those buses will drive back to Madrid tomorrow carrying customers that couldn't fly from Munich due to the closure of that airport.
  • The airline has increased the number of personnel attending its call centers and recommends them to call only in case of extreme urgency.
  • Iberia reminds its customers that destination and date changes, as well as reimbursements without any penalty, are allowed and can be requested through Iberia offices and travel agencies until the end of April. Passengers are kindly requested not to go to the airport, if their flight hasn't been confirmed.
  • Flight status can be checked through Iberia's website, Arrivals and Departures. Clients holding tickets with Iberia code, but operated by a different airline, are required to contact the operating carrier for further information.
