19-Apr-2010 Due to the volcanic activity in Iceland and ash cloud moving over Europe, the following services of Vietnam Airlines to/from Europe are cancelled:
On 19 April:
- VN527 Ho Chi Minh city - Moscow: initially scheduled departure at 10:30 local time
- VN533 Ho Chi Minh city - Paris, scheduled departure at 22:50 local time
- VN545 Hanoi - Frankfurt, scheduled departure at 23:35 local time
- VN526 Moscow - Ho Chi Minh city: initially scheduled departure at 20:00 local time
On 20 April:
- VN532 Paris - Ho Chi Minh city, scheduled departure at 13:25 local time
- VN544 Frankfurt - Hanoi, scheduled departure at 14:40 local time
Vietnam Airlines' next scheduled and additional services between Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh city and Europe (Paris, Frankfurt and Moscow) will be provided in the next update as soon as information is available.
Passengers traveling to/from Europe on these services are advised not to go to the airport. Vietnam Airlines will waive cancellation and change fees for confirmed tickets of the affected flights to/from Europe.
