SilkAir: European flight disruption (update 2)

Updated: For passengers holding SilkAir tickets and travelling on Singapore Airlines on the Singapore-Europe sectors, SilkAir will waive administrative fees/penalty fees for refund or rerouting. The waiver applies to confirmed tickets issued on or before 15 April 2010, for travel between 15 April and 2 May 2010.

For passengers holding SilkAir tickets and are now in Singapore, and wish to return to their original point of departure, SilkAir will offer the following:

a. Travel back to your original point of departure, booked in the same class of travel as your original ticket;

b. Should you decide to travel to Europe again at a later date, SilkAir will also reissue, at no extra charge, a new ticket for the same itinerary and same conditions as your original ticket. The following conditions are also applicable:

Please bring a copy of your electronic ticket and this Notice, no later than 31 May 2010, to the nearest SilkAir office to have your ticket re-issued. Alternatively, you may wish to contact our Reservations office (Contact Centre) to make the travel arrangement.

You must commence your first outbound travel no later than 30 November 2010. Your returning flight will be governed by the original ticket validity, i.e. if you had purchased a one month travel validity ticket and your first outbound travel date is 1 July 2010, you must complete your travel by 31 July 2010.

Your flight(s) will be booked in the same class of travel as your original ticket, and is subject to seat availability at the time of reservations.

Travel is valid on SilkAir and Singapore Airlines only.
