JAL memo: Update 2: Effects of Icelandic volcanic eruptions on JAL flights
20-Apr-2010 Japan Airlines (JAL) plans to resume all scheduled flight operations between Tokyo (Narita) and Europe from tomorrow, April 21, 2010, as airspace and airports in those regions begin to reopen.
JAL is preparing to operate roundtrip flights from Tokyo to London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt and Milan tomorrow, according to its original flight schedule. Additionally, JAL will also be operating 2 extra flights, 1 each from Milan and Rome to Tokyo.
London Heathrow Airport will remain closed until April 21, 03:00hours JST. While JAL plans to operate its London flights as per schedule, a final decision will be made by 06:00JST.

A total of 55 JAL flights on routes between Japan and cities of London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Milan, Rome and Moscow were cancelled between April 15 and April 20, 2010, affecting close to 14,000 passengers.
