TAM update on volcano crisis

Direct News Source

19-Apr-2010 Due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland, some European airports remain closed for landing and take-off operations.

Once operations are resumed, we will realize extra flights in order to transport all passengers as fast as possible. If the forecast for the airports' reopening tomorrow (Tuesday) materializes, we estimate that our operations will be settled in less than a week.

On April 15, airports were closed in England. The next day, April 16, airports in France and Germany had its operations interrupted. On Saturday, April 17, Milan's airport (Italy) also closed. We canceled 51 flights so far, which represents roughly 2% of all international flights estimated for the month.

Our flight to Madrid operates normally.
