ATA pleased with President’s intent to nominate Pistole as TSA Assistant Secretary

18-May-2010 The Air Transport Association of America (ATA), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, today issued the following statement regarding President Obama’s intent to nominate John S. Pistole as Assistant Secretary for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

"We are pleased to learn of the president's intent to nominate John Pistole to head TSA. His national security expertise will be a great asset in shaping our nation's aviation security, and we look forward to working with him."
