Ministry of Civil Aviation: Update at 1700 hrs on plane crash at Mangalore Airport

22-May-2010 According to reports received from Chairman, Airports Authority of India, the status on Mangalore plane crash at 1700 hrs is as follows:
Bodies recovered: 150
Survivors: 8
The Airports Authority of India has established control rooms at:
Chennai - tel. no. 044-2256 1365 & 2256 0894,
Mangalore - tel. no. 0824-2220422 and
Delhi - tel. no. 011-2461 0848/2461 0843.
