THAI leases three Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from Jet Airways

02-Jun-2010 Thai Airways International Public Company Limited will receive delivery of three Boeing 777-300ER aircraft leased from Jet Airways and enter THAI’s summer traffic program as of 1 June 2010 onwards.

Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI's President, said that the three Boeing 777-300ER aircraft would be flown on daily flights on the roundtrip route Bangkok-Charles de Gaulle (Paris) and Bangkok-Narita (Tokyo) as well as regional routes within Asia. Flights to Paris and Tokyo are highly popular with passengers, whereby THAI will be able to serve even more passengers traveling on these routes with the Boeing 777-300ER.

THAI will utilize the Boeing 777-300ER to operate flight TG676/TG677 on a daily basis on the roundtrip route Bangkok-Tokyo (Narita), as of 9 June 2010.

The Boeing 777-300ER will also be utilized to operate flight TG930/TG931 seven flights per week on the roundtrip route Bangkok- Paris (Charles de Gaulle), effective 16 June 2010.

Additional flights TG932/TG933 will be operated on the roundtrip route Bangkok-Paris (Charles de Gaulle) at three flights per week utilizing the Boeing 777-300ER, as of 16 July 2010 flight. This will increase the seven flights being flown currently to a total of 10 flights per week on the Bangkok-Charles de Gaulle (Paris) v.v. route.

There are a total of 312 seats equipped on the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft: eight Royal First Class seats, 30 Royal Silk Class seats, and 274 Economy Class seats.
