25-Jun-2010 The Air Transport Association of America (ATA), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, today issued the following statement in response to the U.S. District Court decision granting the NMB motion in the case regarding the right to change union representation voting rules:

"We are disappointed with the Court's ruling and believe the National Mediation Board does not have the authority to impose this new rule. We will thoroughly study the decision to determine what, if any steps, ATA will take, including exercising our right to appeal the ruling."
