KARZAI CONDOLES WITH ZARDARI OVER PLANE CRASH TRAGEDY

Islamabad: July 28, 2010

Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Wednesday called President Asif Ali Zardari to express condolences over the plane crash tragedy in Islamabad, which caused loss of precious human lives.

During the telephonic conversation, President Karzai expressed deep sense of shock and grief over the tragic incident and offered condolences on behalf of the government and people of Afghanistan.

The Afghan President said that the government and people of Afghanistan fully share the grief of victims' families.

BIJARANI CONDOLES WITH BEREVAED FAMILIES OF PLANE CRASH.

Islamabad: July 28, 2010

Federal Minister for Industries & Production Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow over the deaths in Air Blue plane crash over Margalla Hills in Islamabad today.

While expressing his sympathies with the members of the bereaved families, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, in his condolence message, prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and shower His blessings. May Allah grant courage and fortitude to bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.

The government of Pakistan has decided to observe one day mourning on 28th July, 2010 due to plane crash of Air Blue Causing death of 152 passengers. The National Flag will fly at half mast on 29th July, 2010, says a press release issued from Ministry of Interior here today.

Federal Cabinet Condoles with Families of Air Crash Victims

Islamabad: July 28, 2010

The Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani declared one day National Mourning tomorrow i.e. 29th July because of the tragic air crash near Islamabad today.

The Federal Cabinet expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic air crash and condoled with the families of air crew and passengers killed in the accident. The Cabinet also offered Fateha for the departed souls and prayed to Almighty Allah to give courage and fortitude to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss. The Cabinet also offered Fateha for the son of KPK Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain who was assassinated by terrorists. The Cabinet also expressed sympathies for the affected families in the flood affected areas of Balochistan and some other parts of the country. The Cabinet offered Fateha for those who lost their lives in the recent floods.

The Prime Minister called off the Cabinet meeting till next week.

Islamabad: July 28, 2010

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani along with Chief Ministers of Punjab, Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa, Sindh and some Federal Ministers took aerial view of the crashed site of aeroplane near Islamabad today. He has observed that the access to the accident site was quite difficult thus hampering the rescue operation.

The Prime Minister expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the unfortunate accident and issued instructions to concerned organizations for holding a high level inquiry to determine the cause of the tragedy.

After the announcement of one day mourning, the Prime Minister cancelled his scheduled visit to flood affected areas of Balochistan tomorrow.
