ILFC announces offering of $500 million senior notes
11-Aug-2010 International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG), announced today that it intends to offer, subject to market and other conditions, $500 million aggregate principal amount of its unsecured senior notes due 2017.
ILFC plans to use the net proceeds from the sale of the senior notes to repay a portion of its outstanding secured loans from AIG Funding, Inc. and for general corporate purposes.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, UBS Securities LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and Goldman, Sachs & Co. are acting as joint lead book-running managers for the offering.
