Swedavia: Sharp passenger growth in Jul-2010
11-Aug-2010 2.3 million passengers flew out of Swedavia’s airports in July 2010, which is an increase of ten per cent compared to the same month in 2009.
International traffic increased by twelve per cent to 1.7 million passengers and domestic traffic increased by three per cent to 0.6 million.
In all, for the period January-July 2010, the number of passengers at Swedavia's airports increased by one per cent compared to the same period last year. The number of domestic passengers decreased by two per cent while the number of international passengers increased by three per cent.
The number of landings for regularly scheduled and charter flights increased by four per cent in July compared to the same month last year. International traffic rose by eleven per cent while domestic traffic fell by four per cent. Accumulated for the period January-July 2010, the number of landings was 107,100, which is a decrease of three per cent.
