AirTran Airways customers affected by Hurricane Earl and Tropical Storm Fiona may change travel plan

01-Sep-2010 Based on current forecasts for Hurricane Earl and Tropical Storm Fiona by the National Hurricane Center, AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI), is offering passengers booked to/from affected airports from September 1 through September 4, 2010, the option to change their reservation without penalty.

AirTran Airways customers travelling to/from the following airports may use this penalty-free option; San Juan, Puerto Rico, Richmond, Va., Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Asheville, N.C., Newport News-Williamsburg, Va., Washington D.C. (Dulles and Reagan), Baltimore-Washington, New York, Philadelphia and Boston. Passengers may adjust their travel plans to an alternate date starting one day prior to their original travel day through three days after their original travel date.

The easiest way to utilize this free option is via AirTran Airways' Web site, www.airtran.com. Click on the reservations tab and follow steps for these complimentary changes. Passengers without Internet access may contact us at 1-800-AIR-TRAN.

The airline will continue to monitor the situation and make additional adjustments to its flight schedule as necessary.
