ANA and Hawaiian Airlines to establish partnership
06-Oct-2010 All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. and Hawaiian Airlines, Inc. today announced that the two carriers signed an agreement to establish a commercial partnership.
Shinichiro Ito, President and CEO of ANA, and Mark Dunkerley, President and CEO of Hawaiian Airlines, met in Tokyo yesterday to sign the Letter of Agreement, and agreed to explore bilateral cooperation in areas such as code-sharing, frequent flyer programs, and cargo subject to necessary government approvals. Both airlines will start discussing the details of cooperation hereafter.
As previously announced, ANA will start its service connecting Tokyo's brand new International terminal of Haneda International Airport and Honolulu from October 31, 2010, while Hawaiian Airlines will launch its first scheduled operations to Japan, between Honolulu and Haneda on November 17, 2010. The cooperation of ANA and Hawaiian will benefit customers of both airlines by providing them with greater choice and flexibility.
