Another day of strikes in France affects some Iberia flights

Direct News Source

11-Oct-2010 Strikes by workers throughout France scheduled for tomorrow, 12 of October, will cause some cancellations and delays to Iberia flights.

Iberia has already cancelled some flights to and from Francia, and some other European and domestics flights could be indirectly affected by the strike.

Air traffic restrictions caused by the strike are likely to bring delays to some flights and possible further cancellations due to airport closures. The effects of the strike are not confined to France, but will disrupt traffic through French airspace, including many flights between Spain and other European destinations, and there will be knock-on effects to domestic flights.

Iberia regrets the inconveniences occasioned to its customers, and it will do all it can to help arrange travel alternatives.

Iberia customers who are likely to be affected should look up their flights on www.iberia.com, in the Arrivals and Departures section, or telephone the airline's Call Centers for information about alternative arrangements.
