Air Malta: Strike notice

27-Oct-2010 An Air Traffic Control strike has been declared in France for tomorrow Thursday 28th October 2010.

As a result of this strike Air Malta has to cancel flights KM466/7 Malta/Paris Orly/Malta tomorrow. Air Malta flight KM478/9 Malta/Paris Charles De Gaulle/Malta will operate as scheduled.

Due to restricted airport resources the French Aviation authority has requested all airlines to reduce their traffic programme into Paris and Air Malta has been allowed to operate only its flight KM478/9 to Paris Charles De Gaulle.

In view of this, passengers originally booked on KM466 to Paris Orly are being offered to travel on flight KM478 to Paris Charles De Gaulle tomorrow which is scheduled to depart Malta at 1315 hours local time. Those passengers originally booked to travel Paris Orly to Malta on KM467 are being offered the opportunity to travel tomorrow on KM479 from Paris Charles De Gaulle. The flight is expected to depart Paris Charles De Gaulle at 1700 hours arriving in Malta at 1935 hours.

Till now, Air Malta flights to/from Lyon as well as to/from Toulouse and Marseille will operate as per schedule tomorrow. In the eventuality of any changes in these flights, the airline will communicate these to the public at once.
