Domestic passengers carried by Indian scheduled airlines in the month of Oct-2010

The total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the month of October, 2010 were 46.17 lakhs.

It may be recalled that the total domestic passengers carried by the Scheduled Airlines of India in the month of September, 2010 were 39.11 lakhs.

The break-up for the month of October, 2010 is as follows:

Air India (Domestic) - 8.16 lakhs, Jet Airways -8.70 lakhs, Jet Lite - 3.43 lakhs, Kingfisher - 8.77 lakhs, Spice Jet - 6.30 lakhs, Go Air - 3.06 lakhs, IndiGo - 7.75 lakhs.

The percentage share of the carriers in the month of October, 2010 is as follows:

Air India (Domestic) - 17.7%, Jet Airways - 18.8%, Jet Lite - 7.4%, Kingfisher - 19.0%, Spice Jet - 13.6%, Go Air - 6.6% and IndiGo - 16.8%.

The seat factor of the domestic airlines in the month of October, 2010 was:

Air India (Domestic) - 70.8%, Jet Airways - 73.6%, JetLite - 80.7%, Kingfisher Airlines - 87.1%, Spice Jet - 84.4%, Go Air -77.4% and IndiGo - 86.1%.
