Monarch: Snow disruption in Gatwick - Wednesday 01-Dec and Thursday 02-Dec
01-Dec-2010 Due to ongoing snow in the South East of England on Wednesday 01 December, the runway at Gatwick Airport is closed and all Monarch flights operating to and from Gatwick are subject to disruption.
The following Monarch flights have been rescheduled as below
ZB248/9 Gatwick/Fuerteventura/Gatwick will now operate from/to Luton on 01 December at the following times
* Estimated departure time from Luton - 15.40/arrival 19.50
* Estimated departure time from Fuerteventura - 20.50/arrival 01.00
MON2108/9 Gatwick/Hassi Messaoud/Gatwick will now operate on 02 December at the following times
* Estimated departure time from Gatwick - 06.30/arrival 10.45
* Estimated departure time from Hassi Massaoud - 11.45/arrival 14.00
MON349/8 Gatwick/Grenada/Tobago/Gatwick will now operate on 02 December at the following times
* Estimated departure time from Gatwick - 09.30/arrival in Grenada 14.50
* Estimated departure time from Grenada - 16.05/arrival in Tobago 16.40
* Estimated departure time from Tobago - 18.25/arrival in Gatwick 06.40/03 December
Gatwick Airport is scheduled to reopen at 10.00 on Thursday 02 December and as a result, the following Monarch flights operating on 02 December have been cancelled.
* ZB736/7 Gatwick - Malaga - Gatwick
* ZB214/5 Gatwick - Faro - Gatwick
Customers that have booked directly with Monarch to travel on one of the above cancelled scheduled flights are advised to contact the Monarch Customer Contact Centre on the following numbers to rebook an alternative flight or request a refund. Customers that have booked via a tour operator are advised to contact their tour operator directly.

Passengers booked to travel on all other Monarch flights departing on 02 December are advised to make their way to the airport as normal but are requested to be patient as further delays and disruption are expected throughout the day.
Monarch flights from all other bases are currently operating as scheduled.
