Avinor: International traffic increased by almost 10 percent in Nov-2010
This is an increase of 6.1 percent compared to the same month of 2009. The increase was almost 10 percent on international routes and 5 percent on domestic routes. So far this year the passenger increase is 4 percent, and more than 37 million passengers have travelled through Avinor’s airports.
Among Avinor's largest airports, Oslo Airport Gardermoen saw an increase in passenger numbers of 7.8 percent.
Bergen Airport Flesland had an increase of 7.7 percent, Trondheim Airport Værnes 5.4 percent and Stavanger Airport Sola 3.9 percent.
The regional airports had an average growth in passenger numbers of 2.5 percent.
The local airports had a combined increase in passengers of 7.4 percent.
The number of landings and take-offs (aircraft movements) has increased by 2 percent compared to the same month in 2009.
