Monarch: Snow disruption - Monday 20 & Tuesday 21-Dec

Direct News Source

19-Dec-2010 All Monarch flights are currently planned to operate as scheduled on Monday 20 & Tuesday 21 December but customers are advised that some delays and disruption may be encountered as a result of the ongoing snow and adverse weather conditions across the UK.

Customers are also advised to allow additional journey time to get to the airport as road conditions may cause delay.

Customers that had booked directly with Monarch to travel on one of the flights that were cancelled on 18 and 19 December due to the recent snow and adverse weather conditions can arrange a refund of their scheduled flight online. Simply select the drop down 'flight cancellation refund' in the 'Contact Us' section and let us know your original flight details so a refund can be processed as quickly as possible. Please state clearly whether you wish to cancel your outbound, inbound or both flights on your booking. Click here to go to the contact form

Customers can also change flight bookings online by clicking through to the manage bookings area. Enter the flight booking reference and the e-mail address used to make the booking, select 'change flights' and follow the simple instructions. Please note that a fee will be charged to change flights online (£27.50 + any applicable fare difference) but a refund of this can be arranged via e-mail. Once the change fee has been selected and paid, email us here, select 'flight cancellation refunds' from the drop down list and include the booking details. The refund and change fee will be refunded back to the original payment method.

Customers can also contact the Monarch Customer Contact Centre on the following numbers to rebook an alternative flight or request a refund. The Contact Centre will be open between 08.00 and 20.00 (UK local time) on Monday 20 & Tuesday 21 December. Customers are advised that high call volumes in to Monarch's Customer Contact Centre may result in long call waiting times and are asked to be patient whilst their call is answered. Calls to an 0871 number cost 10p per minute from a BT landline. Mobiles may vary.
