Direct News Source

21-Dec-2010 Heavy snowfalls in the UK and Northern Europe during the last days have forced the closure of various European airports, and this situation is causing disruptions to flights schedules.

This morning, Tuesday 21st December, Air Malta flight KM116 to London Gatwick operated normally.

Today's flight KM100 to London Heathrow departed at 1045 hours local time while the estimated time of departure of KM101 from London Heathrow to Malta is at 1430 hours UK time and is estimated to arrive in Malta at 1854 hours local time.

Air Malta's evening flight to London Heathrow KM102 has been re-instated and is scheduled to depart at 1925 local time while the KM103 from London Heathrow is scheduled to depart at 2300 hours UK time.

Today's flight KM394/5 will operate as Malta/Amsterdam/Brussels/Malta as per normal schedule.

Due to an ATC slot delay flight KM3119 is now estimated to depart London Gatwick Airport at 1530 hours UK time with estimated time of arrival in Malta at 1935 hours local time.

Since flight delays are possible, passengers are urged to check the flight status of their flight before travelling to the airport.
