THAI cancels Bangkok-London v.v. flights and operates special flights due to adverse weather

21-Dec-2010 Today (21 December 2010), Thai Airways International Public Company Limited announced flight cancellations for flights from Bangkok-London v.v. due to adverse weather conditions at Heathrow Airport, which the airport authority will operate only for limited flights.

THAI also announced that two additional flights will be operated on the route London-Bangkok in order to transport passengers from Heathrow Airport.

A limited amount of flights are being allowed to operate to and from London, therefore priority for flight departure will be granted to airlines with passengers currently disabled at Heathrow Airport. For passenger safety and also in accordance with the advisory from London Heathrow air traffic control, regularly scheduled flights will not operate.

1. Flights cancelled on 21 December 2010 are listed below, regularly scheduled as follows:

TG916/ 21 Dec 2010 Bangkok-London 1330-1935 hrs.

TG917/ 21 Dec 2010 London-Bangkok 2135-1555 hrs.

2. On 21 December 2010, two additional flights will be operated on the route London-Bangkok to transport passengers from Heathrow Airport:

TG9119/ 21 Dec 2010 London-Bangkok 1400-0820 +1 (arrives 22 Dec 2010)

TG9179/ 21 Dec 2010 London-Bangkok 2135-1555 +1 (arrives 22 Dec 2010)

3. On 20 December 2010, THAI operated an additional flight routed London-Bangkok:

THAI operated additional flight TG9119/ 20 Dec 2010 on the route London-Bangkok, which arrived in Bangkok on 21 December 2010 at 0610 hours, transporting 368 passengers on board a Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
