Jazeera Airways and Kuwait Airways to carry Wataniya Airways' stranded guests at no charge

19-Mar-2011 Wataniya Airways announced today that guests stranded in Dubai, Beirut, Cairo, with return tickets to Kuwait can use their tickets to fly on Jazeera Airways and Kuwait Airways, who have offered to help Wataniya Airways after it ceased operations yesterday.

Passengers would have to show a printed copy of their itinerary or ticket and be able to travel on the alternate flights upon seat availability without any extra charges.

Jazeera Airways will also carry Wataniya Airways passengers stranded in Istanbul starting from March 27, which is when Jazeera Airways starts its seasonal Istanbul schedule. Jazeera Airways operates its flights from Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen International Airport

Wataniya Airways ticket holders who are currently out of Kuwait wishing to return should visit any Kuwait Airways or Jazeera Airways ticketing counter at the airport and present a printed copy of their ticket to get on the next available flight. Rebooking will be free but subject to availability of seats on the flights.
