Jetstar to assist customers affected by Tiger suspension

02-Jul-2011 Jetstar will offer special fares to customers who had booked to travel on Tiger Airways’ domestic Australian network over the next week, but have had their flight cancelled, in order to minimise the impact on their travel plans.

Jetstar is seeking to assist those customers who have been affected by the suspension of Tiger Airway's domestic Australian services (from TODAY 2 July 2011 until 06.00 on SATURDAY 9 July 2011) and will seek to accommodate passengers on available flights where possible.

Jetstar is also considering opportunities to add extra flights to key destinations.

The following fares will apply for Tiger passengers booked to travel over the next 7 days (from TODAY 2 July 2011 until 06.00 SATURDAY 9 July 2011). These fares are subject to availability:

The above fares include 10kg of carry-on luggage and up to 15kg checked-in luggage.

INSTRUCTIONS: Tiger passengers need to show their Tiger itinerary for travel (between TODAY 2 July 2011 and 06.00 on SATURDAY 9 July 2011) at a Jetstar Service Desk at their point of departure Airport. Where possible and subject to availability, Jetstar will seek to accommodate affected passengers on the next available direct flight to their destination.

The fares will not be available via Jetstar.com or Jetstar Telephone Reservations and will only be available for purchase at the Airport, subject to availability.
