GE: Commercial aviation to increase traffic and profit in 2016

GE published (22-Jul-2016) its expectations for the aviation commercial environment for 2016. Details include:

  • Passenger traffic: +6.2% year-on-year (2015: 7.4%);
  • Cargo traffic: +2.1% (2015: 2.3%);
  • Aircraft departures: 36.8 million (2015: 34.8 million);
