
Government states safe to resume Jakarta-Yogyakarta services

Indonesian Government notified airlines that it is now safe to resume services between Jakarta and Yogyakarta, due to a decline in volcanic activity from Mount Merapi (The Jakarta Post, 22-Nov-2010). Garuda Indonesia, Sriwijaya Air and AirAsia resumed operations on the route on 21-Nov-2010. Lion Air expects to resume its service on the route on 26-Nov-2010, while Batavia Air plans to resume services in Dec-2010.
