Honeywell 2Q2016 caps off a 'strong' 1H2016, raises lower end full year guidance

Honeywell revenue up 2% - financial highlights for three months ended 30-Jun-2016:

  • Revenue: USD9991 million, +2% year-on-year;
    • Aerospace: USD3779 million, -1%;
  • Segment profit: USD1847 million, +2%;
    • Aerospace: USD791 million, +2%;
  • Net profit: USD1290 million, +6%;
  • Total assets: USD51,181 million;
  • Cash and cash equivalents: USD5045 million;

Honeywell: "Honeywell grew earnings 10% in the second quarter, capping off a strong first half of 2016. Sales in the quarter of USD10.0B were in-line with our expectations driven by contributions from each of our business groups. In Aerospace, we saw continued momentum in Commercial Aviation Aftermarket and Transportation Systems. As a result of our first half performance, we are raising the low-end of our full-year earnings guidance range to USD6.60-USD6.70, up 8%-10%," Dave Cote, Chairman and CEO.
