Japan MLITT: Domestic traffic continues to slow, international traffic increases in May-2016

Japan MLITT reported (08-Jul-2016) the following preliminary traffic highlights in May-2016:

Passenger numbers:
- Domestic: 7.4 million, -3.0% year-on-year;
- International: 1.4 million, +4.0%;
Cargo volume:
- Domestic: 62,051 tons, -5.0%;
- International: 131,029, +4.8%.
