Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLITT) reported (31-Mar-2016) the following traffic highlights in Jan-2016:

• Passenger numbers:
• • Domestic: 7.3 million, +0.9% year-on-year;
  • International: 1.6 million, +18.3%;
  • • China: 275,434, +20.8%;
    • South Korea: 138,086, -0.2%;
    • Rest of Asia: 714,398, +25.6%;
    • Americas: 205,190, +13.7%;
    • Pacific Ocean: 95,013, +0.5%;
    • Oceania: 25,160, +104%;
• Passenger load factor:
• • Domestic: 64.1%;
  • International: 74.0%;
• Cargo volume:
• • Domestic: 73,570 tons, +0.7%;
  • International: 117,448, -2.9%.
