Jetstar Asia CEO describes Singapore Changi as a fantastic hub for the carrier

Jetstar Asia CEO Barathan Pasupathi, speaking at the CAPA Asia Aviation Summit, said (23-Nov-2015) Singapore Changi Airport is a fantastic hub for the carrier. Mr Pasupathi said: "The population of Singapore is only 5.3 million and the traffic at Changi is 54 million." Mr Pasupathi explained: "We operate from Terminal One and most of our partners are in Terminal One, with others like Cathay Pacific and AirAsia moving to Terminal Four we find we're in a very nice soft spot, perfect position to work with all our partners… A lot of our codeshare and interline partners come to the main terminals so our customer experience has been seamless." Mr Pasupathi added: "We existed in main terminals and work with partners in main terminals; in Singapore it's a blissful experience."
