KLM Cityhopper celebrates 50th anniversary

Air France-KLM announced (12-Sep-2016) its wholly-owned subsidiary KLM Cityhopper will celebrate 50 years of commercial service in 2016. Commencing operations in 1966, the airline started out with two Fokker F27 Friendships with 22 staff members. Since, it has grown to "into the biggest hub feeder for KLM and its partners at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol" said Cityhopper MD Boet Kreiken.
