
Lufthansa Group passenger numbers up in Nov-2011, load factor down

Lufthansa Group reports (09-Dec-2011) the following traffic highlights in Nov-2011:
- Passenger numbers: 8.2 million, +4.6% year-on-year;
- Lufthansa Passenger Airlines: 5.2 million, +6.4%;
- SWISS: 1.2 million, +3.7%;
- Austrian Airlines: 843,000, +4.9%;
- bmi: 397,000, -10.3%;
- Germanwings: 496,000, +1.5%;
- Passenger load factor: 73.7%, -2.0 ppts;
- Lufthansa Passenger Airlines: 73.8%, -2.1 ppts;
- SWISS: 78%, -1.4 ppts;
- Austrian Airlines: 69.8%, -3.0 ppts;
- bmi: 63.6%, -4.5 ppts;

Lufthansa Group: “Sales for the Passenger Airline Group rose year on year by 3.4 per cent in November. As capacity growth (+6.2%) was reduced again, the load factor for the first month of the winter flight plan stabilised at 73.7 per cent.
