Nauru Airlines says it will have fleet of five Boeing 737s by end of 2014

Nauru Airlines CEO Geoff Bowmaker, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (08-Aug-2014) the airline would have a fleet of five Boeing 737-300 aircraft by the end of 2014 including one freighter. Mr Bowman noted: "Three years ago I could barely fill one frequency a week because there was no local market... There's a lot of work involve in support FIFO workers to those [asylum seeker] camps being created on Nauru, and the transfer of asylum seekers as they arrive."
