Qantas Airways Group passenger numbers up 4% - traffic highlights for May-2016:

• Passenger numbers: 4.0 million, +4.2% year-on-year;
• • Qantas Domestic*: 1.8 million, +1.6%;

Qantas Group: "Group Domestic (comprising Qantas Domestic and Jetstar Domestic) capacity in the month was 4.2 per cent lower than in May 2015, reflecting capacity reductions announced in April 2016. As a result of these targeted capacity reductions, Group Domestic RASK recovered from the negative trends of March and April to be positive in the month of May.
