Singapore Airlines establishes holding company for Scoot and Tigerair

Singapore Airlines established (18-May-2016) a holding company, Budget Aviation Holdings, to own and manage Scoot and Tigerair. The holding company structure is designed to "drive deep integration" between the airlines and will allow for the integration and sharing of key functions, including sales and marketing, IT, planning and operations. Tigerair CEO Lee Lik Hsin was appointed CEO of the holding company and Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong will be chairman. Scoot CEO Campbell Wilson will return to Singapore Airlines in a senior position. Budget Aviation Holdings' management will include senior staff from Scoot, Tigerair and Singapore Airlines.
