Sichuan Airlines to expand international network with Vancouver, Amsterdam and Melbourne in 2012

Sichuan Airlines general manager Li Haiying stated the carrier's international network expansion will take off next year with plans to launch the carrier's first North American destination from Chengdu to Vancouver in Apr-2012, according to a Carnoc.com report. The carrier also plans to launch Chengdu-Amsterdam service with a daily frequency in Jun-2012 and Chengdu-Melbourne service between Aug-2012 to Oct-2012. Sichuan Airlines operates a fleet of 65 all-Airbus aircraft.
