South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs reports (24-Oct-2011) the following cargo traffic highlights for the three months ended Sep-2011:
- Cargo volume: 884,222 tonnes, -0.7% year-on-year;
- Domestic: 68,991 tonnes, +8.0%;
- By carrier:
- Korean Air: 45,722 tonnes, +5.2%;
- Asiana:10,651 tonnes, +1.9%;
- Air Busan: 3611 tonnes, +1.1%;
- Jeju Air: 3056 tonnes, +47.9%;
- T’way: 1932 tonnes, +2476%;
- Jin Air: 1969 tonnes, +8.3%;
- Eastar Jet: 2050 tonnes, -16.9%;
- International: 815,232 tonnes, -1.4%;
- By region:
- By carrier:
- Korean Air: 393,729 tonnes, -2.8%;
- Asiana: 188,470 tonnes, +2.9%;
- Jeju Air: 2572 tonnes, +76.9%;
- Air Busan: 1304 tonnes, +109.3%;
- Jin Air: 1227 tonnes, +163.3%;
- Eastar Jet: 635 tonnes, +51.2%;
- Foreign carriers: 227,295 tonnes, -3.3%.
