United Airlines launches Houston-Havana service on 03-Dec-2016

United Airlines launched (03-Dec-2016) weekly Houston-Havana service on 03-Dec-2016, becoming the only carrier to serve Havana from Texas. The carrier also operates daily New York Newark-Havana service, with both airports to "provide an important gateway" to Cuba. United will operate both services with Boeing 737 aircraft.
