US scheduled passenger airlines collect USD1.1bn from baggage fees in 2Q2016
US Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) reported (19-Sep-2016) US scheduled passenger airlines collected USD1.1 billion in baggage fees in 2Q2016, 2.5% of total operating revenue, and USD755 million from reservation change fees, 1.7% of total operating revenue.
