Vanilla Air says ANA Holdings supports the carrier through subleasing aircraft and purchasing oil

Vanilla Air president Tomonori Ishii, speaking at the CAPA Asia Aviation Summit, said (23-Nov-2015) ANA Holdings supports the carrier through subleasing aircraft and purchasing oil, but noted: "At this moment, we don't have any plans to have a codeshare or operation by feeding." Mr Ishii added: There's no coordination with ANA and my colleague airline Peach, so we compete with each other... The market for LCC in Japan and North Asia is not so mature so for the time being there's many room to expand individually, but in the near future if this market matures we need some coordination for our dual brand strategy."
