Amas Bolivia (Línea Aérea Amaszonas) is a regional carrier based at Teniente Jorge Henrich Arauz Airport. The carrier was founded in 2000 and provides scheduled regional services mainly with Bombardier CRJ equipment. Amaszonas was fully owned by Amaszonas Compañía de Servicios de Transporte Aéreo S.A. In Mar-2016, the carrier announced the acquisition of Uruguayan charter operator, BQB Lineas Aereas. Amaszonas rebranded BQB as Amaszonas Uruguay in May-2016. NELLA Airlines acquired Amaszonas in Aug-2021 then sold the carrier in Sep-2023 to a Bolivian businessman, Mr Luis Divino.
Bolivia DGAC announced the suspension of Amaszonas' air operator's certificate on 19-Nov-2023.
