About

Established in 1991, Aserca Airlines was a Venezuelan domestic and regional carrier. Aserca operated over 485 weekly services on a predominantly domestic route network. The airline also operated an international service to the Caribbean island of Aruba. Aserca was based at its primary hub of Caracas Simon Bolivar International Airport with a secondary base at Valencia Arturo Michelena Airport, and utilised a fleet of MD-87 equipment. It ceased operations on 22-May-2018, returning its AOC to the Venezuela INAC.
