Beijing Airlines is a private VIP charter operator, majority-owned by Air China Limited. The carrier is based at Beijing Capital Airport and operates a fleet of narrow-body Boeing and Airbus family aircraft.
Air China announced it plans to rebrand Beijing Airlines as an LCC subsidiary, with passenger and freight services operated with Boeing 737 aircraft.
In Oct-2021, CAAC stated Beijing Airlines’ application to change its operating base from Beijing Capital International Airport to Beijing Daxing International Airport has received preliminary approval from CAAC North China Regional Administration.
