About

Dominican Wings was Dominican charter carrier based at San Domingo. The carrier operated services on behalf of tour operators and airlines from its hub at San Domingo Las Americas Airport. Dominican Wings was a subsidiary of Lithuanian wet-lease specialist, Avion Express. Victor Pacheco, Dominican Wings president, the sole stakeholder of the airline. The carrier commenced service operations on 05-Feb-2016, using a 180-seat Airbus A320 on its maiden Santo Domingo-Trinidad and Tobago service. It rebranded as Flycana in early 2018, and transitioned to a ULCC business model.
