About

Mat Airways was a Macedonian airline based at Skopje Alexander the Great Airport. The airline emerged after the collapse of former national carrier MAT Macedonian Airlines. Mat Airways commenced operations in Nov-2010 with services between Skopje and destinations in Germany and Switzerland. The airline was owned by Serbian tour operator Kon Tiki and used Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline suspended air service operations on 04-Jul-2011, after it split with Skywings.
